It's all good in the hood tonight

Today was one of those truly excellent days in March, where I almost feel ready to let go of winter. Wrapping up some baking, spending the evening in the backyard with our neighbors/close friends and the animals, sharing some left-over curry, and working on the car until late.  Tonight was one of those nights where the sun went down, and we realized it was late and we hadn't eaten. Almost like Summer.  

I tried this macaron recipe from Laduree. They came out looking beautiful. Can't wait for them to mature in a day or two. 

Were lucky to have happened to stop at this boutique up the street on the night of their open house. Lots of adorable clothes. And beautiful mini cupcakes.

 Trying to decide if I can rock a bum-ruffle. In public. I'm thinking not.

 I love my manly man. I love his man beard. And I love when he does manly things for us, like work on our car.
